Larry Jackson “Jackson”

Grew up tough in a small town outside Savannah, Georgia. Mother and father both struggled with substance abuse and mental health issue. Lost my father when I was four, lost my mom when I was 13. Grew up in a household within intense, mental, physical and emotional abuse spent time in several foster homes/boys homes. Spent time living on the street running away from home, and often times was in and out of catastrophic poverty. My mother went to prison for two years in regards to current family. I have an amazing group of people that I have attracted and adopted into my chosen family. Four brothers, four sisters, one sister-in-law. One nephew, one niece.

During my high school years, I met a family that owned a boxing gym, and I started boxing and use that as a tool to release deep seated anger and also as a vehicle to get myself to a better position. Started my amateur career around 19 at the age of 21 years old I got the opportunity to move to San Diego to turn pro and fight out of one of the best gyms in the country of the time. Went onto amass, a record of seven wins and 14 losses real realizing that my dream of being a world champion was never going to come to fruition. I spent a couple years in a dark place battling my own demons with excessive drinking and partying. During this time I was Athletic Director in the fitness space managing the personal training department of a large upscale health and wellness club in downtown San Diego.

In 2014 a client of mine who is a well-known surgeon recommended me to accompany for a medical device job, this began my career and medical advice Sáles where I have spent the majority specializing in disruptive technology/consultative behavior change sales. I’ve been fortunate enough to bring two products to market that have drastically changed. The way diseases are treated.

In 2023 I moved to Baton Rouge Louisiana to take over a territory, where I found more love, joy, healing, and connection through a family that is kind of taken me in and made me a part of them and through deep deep deep therapy that I’ve been in for almost a year now. The most growth, love, warmth, and caring I have ever experienced in my life has been in Baton Rouge, Louisiana of all places, even though I have lived all over the world, San Diego, the Bahamas, Thailand.

-addicted to doing and living a very challenging lifestyle and being in a constant state of growth and discomfort, which is not always be a positive thing.
-My favorite saying is ‘life’s tough get a helmet’
-My core values I live by life by are. Tell the fucking truth, give more than you receive, meet everyone where they are cause we are all just trying to do our best. Love is hard and as much as you can and expect nothing in return (struggle with that one) and live your life with purpose, and that purpose is service. Comfort is death, lean into discomfort.
-Huge science fiction fan. All things marvel, Star Wars, Dune. Lego’s to back it up.
-I will call myself a highly disciplined, highly competitive, constructively petty person. I wake up at 3:15 in the morning, and I desperately strive to prove people wrong and to make the impossible possible.
