2x Paralympic Bronze Medalist - Samantha Bosco

Delighted to have 2x Paralympic Bronze medalist Samantha Bosco join us to share her life story of overcoming numerous obstacles in order to reach her dreams. 

It is great to have professional athletes join the show so we can get more literal examples of the “athlete mindset”, but so much of Sam’s story sheds light on the trying times athletes deal with, which is just as valuable as hearing about the successes. I believe athletes are at their most relatable when they open up about their hardships as we all encounter similar scenarios within our non-athletic careers

Sam provides perspective on the need to make sure our dreams are able to evolve and adapt to the situations life hands us. Nothing about Sam’s story demonstrates a loss of ambition, in fact I’d argue her adversities have made her more ambitious, but it is healthy to allow your dreams to evolve with these ups and downs. In addition, we are educated on the impact a strong support system can have from those we need to rely upon when the going gets tough, and the importance to prioritize these peoples opinions most and ignore distractions from those that don’t know you as well.
